TBP do Glastonbury in VW Campervan style…
Last week, TBP’s very own VW Campervan, Monty, trundled along the narrow Somerset streets to Worthy Farm – otherwise known as Glastonbury Festival.
Monty formed a welcome addition to the team in late 2012, and enabled SRE and seasoned festival-goer Ash to finally get a good night’s sleep in a field!
Blessed with some (atypical) summery weather, wellington boots were cast aside in favour of flip flops to explore this 900 acre music mecca over the 3 day festival period.
Highlights from Glastonbury included The Rolling Stones, who put on a swaggeringly good show (perhaps the best ever) during their 2 hour set at the Pyramid stage.
Other delights included Bastille, who apparently attracted the largest ever crowd at the John Peel Stage, and The Lumineers, who ventured into the crowd during one of their songs.
Finally, who will forget the euphoric closing performance that came courtesy of Mumford & Sons. Sigh No More! (Until next year).
