London 2012’s Olympic furore has spread across London and Britain in the past two weeks. In keeping with the Nation’s positive spirit, Olympic sponsor Cadbury invites the public to write ‘messages of joy’ on postcards to the athletes and pin them to the walls of Cadbury House in the Olympic Park. What a sweet gesture!
Running with the Olympic theme, this Sunday’s closing ceremony will give Brazil the chance to showcase their identify for the 2016 Games in Rio. A far cry from the hotly debated logo and identity created by Wolff Olins for London 2012, we think Rio’s identity is likely to cause less of a stir. But what do you think?
Ballantine’s’ Scotch whisky have created the world’s first ‘wearable, sharable, programmable t-shirt’. Known as the tshirtOS, it allows users to share messages, play music from iTunes and take photographs using a tiny in-built digital camera. A sign of our times, the t-shirt is controlled by a mobile phone app and is part of Ballantine’s’ ‘Leave an Impression’ campaign.
