Purveyors of fine chips McCain have relaunched their portfolio with new designs which adopt a more brand-led proposition. We researched the designs, by Brand Opus, and we think they’ve made a rather good job of it. They’ve successfully moved beyond the now-generic ‘potatoes’/ingredients message to add warmth and meaning to the brand, and place it back at the heart of the pack.


Apple’s Principal Designer, Jonathan Ive, is rumoured to be considering leaving Apple and returning to his homeland of Blighty.

Innocent is fighting to protect its brand name after a vitamin supplement of the same company emerged. Innocent Vitamins has been trading in Waitrose since January; the other, bigger, Innocent has asked the owner to stop using the name as they have it registered as a Trademark.
