Time for another news bulletin…
If you fancy a healthier alternative to the Easter choc fest, perhaps try Panda’s traditional liquorice whose pack has recently been revamped by Cowan design in London. We think they’ve done an excellent job with this simple design which injects some fun and modernity into the brand.
Again on a health note, the makers of ‘bare naked’ fruit smoothies, Naked Juice, have updated their pack in conjunction with Voicebox Creative. The new pack seeks to revitalise and improve range cohesion, and encompasses flavour-based colour coding to aid variant navigation, whilst new illustrations and the white strip under the logo bolster standout.
This week we came across a rather ingenious design courtesy of WilliamsWarn – the makers of the world’s first personal brewing machine. This is the pack for their Liquid Malt Extract, which was designed to reflect the look and feel of their premium brewing machinery… we think it does this rather well. Prost!
And finally, the Andrex toilet tissue pack has been given a facelift by Elmwood Design Consultancy, who were drafted in to help Andrex ‘reaffirm its position as an iconic brand’. The pack has a matte finish which aims to augment quality cues and help Andrex justify their premium pricing. The pack features a photographic puppy rather than the CGI one applied above the line.
