After a spate of Royal Wedding themed packaging last year, Jubilee fever is officially heating up with the imminent release of this limited edition Tabasco sauce. Makers McIlhenny, are seeking to commemorate The Queen’s Jubilee after being granted a Royal Warrant in 2009, and have opted for this Union Jack themed pack emblazoned with (graphic) diamonds. 500,000 limited edition bottles will be released in May for a six-week period only.
Check out this minimalist pack design for DUO shaving balms. Created by London design studio, OWL, the brand opts for a distinctly sleek aesthetic with premium trimmings such as warming, soft-touch closures and matt substrate (which purposely references the non-shine effects of the product). Perfect for the style-conscious modern man.
Now for a sweet treat in the form of chocolatey cheese – courtesy of Kraft Foods. This month the company blends their Philadelphia and Cadbury brands to create a rather distinctive variant of the cream cheese. Holmes & Marchant are behind the pack design, which had the tricky job of balancing two very distinctive brand identities.
This month we’re drinking the highly chic DVF Diet Coke. In yet another limited edition release, the soft drinks company has teamed up with the first lady of NY fashion; Diane Von Furstenberg. Featuring iconic DVF prints, proceeds from all the sales will be donated to the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health. Available in February only.
