The House of PeroniJust a week after Skegness was deprived of the Italian beer brand, Peroni Nastro Azzurro have launched a new website showcasing the very best of contemporary Italian culture.

Replicating the look of a high-end Italian fashion house, the collection of artefacts document everything from design and fashion, to film, music and photography.

Douglas van Praet has called for marketing managers to appeal to both our rational and emotional sides.  Although behavioural economics has declared us a pretty irrational breed, Praet argues that we still look for ways to rationalise how we feel.  Have a read of the article over on Co.CREATE.

Strongbow unveiled their new Dark Fruit cider this week, working with Bulletproof to create a pack that taps into the premium cider market.  The new pack certainly stands apart from the ‘core’ range, with subtle colourways and a distinctive bottle structure.

AND FINALLY

IBM

An ingenious campaign by IBM has seen billboard ads transformed into street furniture, providing city dwellers with a ramp for luggage, a place to shelter from the elements, or a seat to take the weight off.  Now that’s a smart idea.


And on Thursday, Big Picture researchers Ash, Fleur & Chris set off on a charity cycle ride from Big Ben in London, towards the Arc De Triomphe in Paris.  We hope they don’t get too tyred (sorry).  Best of luck guys!
