News update: This semester at Parsons School of Design…

Laurel Russo, a Research Manager in The Big Picture’s New York office, is going to be a guest lecturer at Parsons School of Design this semester in the Strategic Design and Management program. As an experienced qualitative market researcher with a true obsession for all things design, she will be crafting a lecture for undergrads in the Research & Development Methods course on the importance of capturing implicit, behavioral response to design, and how to take actionable next steps from the research findings.

The course aims to equip students with a deep familiarity with design’s role in understanding people and driving innovation. Upon completion, students should have confidence in their ability to use design research methods and plan research programs that drive innovation.
