The Big Picture present their paper on ‘The Challenge for Design in a 2D World’ at the Vision conference in Bristol.


Earlier today, The Big Picture’s Su Abeysuriya spoke at the Vision conference in Bristol alongside such industry leaders as Patrick Collister, Head of Design at Google.

Her presentation, entitled ‘The Challenge for Design in a 2D World’, fuelled a creative debate around the role of FMCG pack design in an online world.

“Online grocery shopping presents a whole new landscape for packaging design” commented Su following the conference. “And while it represents only a small fraction of the overall market at the moment, it’s growing fast. From here on, it’s vital brand owners and design agencies consider how consumers relate to design in the online environment, and what rules ‘online’ sets for packaging design.”
