If you’re creative, analytical and sparky, have a passion for design and how people engage with it, and are committed to delivering excellence in your work, then you might just be our kind of person.

A bit about us…

We are specialists in design insight with offices in London and New York. Our approach is based on the principles of Design Thinking – a human-centred ethos that guides creative development. It means our insight seamlessly integrates into the creative process to inspire, guide and hone design.

We have a strong focus on FMCG, and our blue chip clients include Unilever, GSK, Reckitt Benckiser, PepsiCo and General Mills. Other clients include Diageo, Disney, Chivas Brothers, Britvic and Innocent (full list is on our website).

While we’ve built our reputation on qualitative research, we’ve recently launched a quantitative offer to ensure we are able to research design from its very conception through to launch. As such, we use an extensive range of exciting methods and approaches.

Have you recently graduated? Are you looking to explore the exciting world of design research? If so, we are looking for interns, so please apply by clicking on the link below to send us your CV.

Along with attaching your CV, let us know a bit about yourself, why you would like to intern at The Big Picture, and give us an example of a design you admire and why. We look forward to hearing from you!

Being part of The Big Picture means being part of a supportive team with a shared vision. We give back what you put in, guiding and supporting your development, whether you’re starting afresh or are a seasoned pro.

And we’re an agency with people at heart. There’s always a company social event in the diary, and not all of them leave you with a headache.

We’ve got a membership card for just about every gallery going, and the annual company trip could take you anywhere from Brighton to Barcelona.

As an employee, you’ll enjoy a generous and competitive benefit package, and might even get a chance to see the world.

If you don’t see the right opportunity, please don’t let that stop you getting in touch with Jo, our HR Manager.

Building a Better Future

We like to leave things a bit better than we find them. And while we believe great design is part of that, we do our best to make sure we’re having a positive impact on the world in a broader way.

Paragon Partnership

We’re proud to be part of Paragon, an initiative that looks at how insight can help the UN meet their Sustainable Development Goals.

MERU: Insight Informing Valuable Design

We conducted pro bono research to help inform the work of MERU, a charity that designs and produces life-changing equipment for children and young people with disabilities.

Sustainable Working

We try to work sustainably too, so we offset the carbon emissions from all our flights via World Land Trust, a charity set up to replant and protect rainforests.
